Sagat has 10 freezer cells for a total of over 50,000 m2(including anticelle) for the storage and handling of frozen and deep-frozen foods.
The volumetric potential of the freezer cells is sub-divided as described below:

The entire refrigerating system is equipped with specific, sophisticated electronic instruments which allows the constant monitoring of temperature.

Cells have a CE marking (540F), which is the autorhization to store and preserve frozen and deep-frozen foods in the cold chain which will then be distributed in the European Areas.
The cold chain is characterized by wide temperature ranges (from -18/-25°C to +8/+10°C) and makes it possible to preserve a variety of products:

  • Meat products, and namely:
  • Beef meat
  • lamb and goat meat
  • fowl and rabbit meat
  • pork meat
  • fish
  • eggs for human consumption (both whole eggs and shelled liquid pasteurized eggs);
  • dairy products (butter)
  • vegetable products (various greens)
  • fruit products (drinks, concentrates and cyders)
  • flour and cereal based products (baked cakes and similar products)
  • ice creams
